Be Connections: Parenting During the Pandemic is a space to unwind for busy parents wanting to navigate the COVID crisis and changes in the family dynamics. Learn how to incorporate meditation into your life so you can be the face of calm for yourself and your children. This workshop will present tools that can be easily applied and help you right out of the gate. Take time to connect with others from all over the world, who understand what it’s like to live in these uncertain times.

Dr. Renée Garrick has amassed a wide, positive and impactful career as a former educator in the third-largest school district in the nation. For more than 34 years, she served as a teacher, program manager, liaison with the State Board of Education, Director in the Office of Specialized Services and Administrator of more than 40 schools across the city of Chicago. Always an advocate of children, supporting parents was a passion and mainstay for effective collaboration and student success.
