Sandi

Sandi Smith-Grove, RYT200, LM, has been a student of yoga for close to 30 years, beginning her practice as part of a healing regime after back surgery. She completed her 200 hour certification at the Yoga & Movement Center and is an RYT200 with the Yoga Alliance. She has received teaching certifications in Yoga for Healthy Aging, Pre/Postnatal Yoga, completed the Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction program for Health Care Providers and continues to gather knowledge by working with senior teachers.

Sandi believes movement and mindfulness are interwoven and that we have the ability to focus on the breath and find balance in our daily lives. Discovering the strength within, while listening to the body and learning to let go are concepts interwoven into her classes.

When she is not working or practicing, you can find her in the garden, on the trail, in one of her women’s groups or reading a good book. She is married and has 2 adult children.
